My Name is Sean

I started my photography journey back in January of 2022, but to be honest, I’ve always had an interest in photography since I was in high school. Before that I was intrigued by my father’s Nikon film camera when I was younger, but knew that it was passed down to him by his father, and I felt like I wasn’t allowed to touch that camera. I’ve owned a few cameras before, starting with a CyberShot from canon, and then a Nikon Coolpix but I never really tried to explore those cameras. When I went to Korea to teach in 2013, my gift to myself for Christmas was a Canon 600d aka a Rebel t3i I believe. (correct me if I’m wrong) I used it sparingly while I was teaching, and even then I didn’t really explore too much about the capabilities of that camera. It wasn’t until 2021, when I picked up a Sony A6000 at a pawnshop in Florida that I started getting more interested. I originally had chosen to purchase that camera as a streaming webcam/zoom meeting camera as I was working remotely at the time. I picked up a sigma 16mm lens, and when I found myself back in Georgia I thought, why not actually learn how to use this camera. My only goal was to learn how to use the camera, and actually take the time to fully utilize the tool I purchased to recreate the views that I saw with my own two eyes.
